No opening day yet, but have been searching around, hopefully can give some info on that soon! There is a lot of work going on, I took a video with my camera which I will try upload on YouTube and share here, lots of people onboard!

Hopefully, you will be one of the first into The Golden Lion Pub -
according to qe2.com, this will be the Oldest Pub in Dubai!

There is a page qe2.com that takes the user to the website where a list of accommodations can be found.
These include The Captain's Quarters, suites and cabins
Pages on the website have a few headers - these are waiting for further descriptions

Under Dining there is much more information...

This evidently very much a work In Progress
Take a good look round!

Just booked a stay onboard QE2, expect lots of pictures after I go onboard in 2 weeks! Here is a video I took there as well, not that good since it kept going out of focus, but gives an idea on whats going there

Two weeks! That is soon... excitement is mounting... looking forward to your photos!

If I was booking a room, I would ask for a portside one -- the view of the water would make me dream of being out at sea again...

First sailed on QE2 in August 2003 aged 6 years old. Last sailed on QE2 in July 2008. Last saw the seagoing QE2 in person from the decks of QM2, on QE2's last Transatlantic crossing (Eastbound tandem) in October 2008. Visited QE2 in her new life, in Dubai, in January 2020 and August 2022.

Looking at Liam's photos makes me want to go onboard right now.  However, I will need to wait until later in the year and plan a special trip to QE2 Hotel
