I was so grateful to everyone who voted, and was delighted when my photo of Nick Bates : The Captain and his Ship won first prize.

My choice was of a jigsaw, so kindly donated, produced and expedited by June -- the last Atlantic crossing for QE2 (jigsaw) this year.

As the Christmas season (and with it the jigsaw season) approaches, I have set up the jigsaw table and this evening emptied the jigsaw from its beautiful tin, and am all excited to get started. A couple of pieces have already been separated from the rest ;) .

Knowing me, it will take several months for Captain Nick Bates and his ship and Bergen port to be reunited again -- but there will be many happy moments between now and then.

It comes in a Tin... Gosh l had no idea, However its lovely to see the finished product in a Jigsaw version
Well done on a great photo.
From the moment you first glimpsed the Queen,
you just knew you were in for a very special time ahead.!
