In regards to the comments somewhere above regarding Superstar Virgo, I don't think its offensive to the eye as a lot of the others being churned out at the moment are, it is relatively neat and tidy looking, but it is not special, it is not pretty, it blends in with others rather than stands out, and thats not a bad thing in my opinion as the ones which stand out are more often these days standing out because they are uniquly bad, such as Norwegian Epic, only one which stoodout for being uniquely good like QE2 will become truely loved as QE2 was. Oh how I wish someone would build us one of those....

I like her. She is much prettier than a lot of the floating boxes around these days. I saw her in Singapore in April and thought she was nice 'in the flesh', so to speak, too.

I didn't get my first glimpse of the QV on Monday - she was over two hours late leaving port (I was waiting at a nearby park where there is a great view of the ships arriving/departing) - when I drove over the cruise terminal - she was completely blocked by this - the Caribbean Princess!  I wish my camera took photos at night - the view of the CP as she was departing looked like a floating office building!!

Totally agree with you there, Rob. The Norwegian Epic's bridge area looks just like a box and 'it' looks top heavy!

We saw the  Disney Wonder up close while in Nassau on our Costa Magica cruise to Bermuda and the ships modern interpretation of a liner were in sharp contrast to our squared off boxy floating block of hotel flats on the Magica.  Then again, we are also partial to ships with dark painted hulls.

Carribean Princess in NYC yesterday.  Is that the bow or the stern?  Ugly from every angle. It looks like they added a bridge at the stern.  Not sure if I'd want to be up there having a drink in an substantial seas.

That makes the NCL Jewel downright decent looking.
