OK so in general we're trying to keep at 1 Queen Victoria topic, but I'm curious to know if anyone on the forum, especially people I 'know', are taking the QV round Britain cruise which calls in "here" in 2 weeks time?

One thing I realised at our get-together weekend, is that you're all cruising constantly, but you mostly dont say so on here!  Would you like to try to meet other forum members on your cruises?  Should we have a topic for this purpose?

I think a topic for meeting up on cruises  could work quite well for forum members and is worth a try.  Forum members could arrange to meet for a chat over coffee or cocktails on board ship.  It was really good meeting forum members on the Waverley, Titan Crane week-end in June and everyone seemed to get on really well and have lots in common through cruising and the QE2.

We are on the Round Britain cruise on the Queen Victoria next week and would be interested in hearing from anyone from the forum who will be on this trip and is interested in meeting up.

I plug the forum at the end of my QE2 lectures given aboard QM2 and QV and have had a number of people say they read it (guests). It's interesting to meet people who have shared our collective QE2 Journey even if they are only reading.

Hi Gav
As you will be getting ready to embark - we'll be coming ashore!
Any chance of a morning meet up at the Holiday Inn near Mayflower Park?!  :)
It would be very good to see you, and anyone else who just happens to be there!
