Peter Radmore Collection (Heritage Trail)

Not the best of pictures (sorry!) but before the Peter Radmore Collection was added in 1994 on Upper Deck D Stairway this area was the home to several heritage items:

The Laconia Cup (transferred to Yacht Club Lobby in 1994)
The Falklands Plaque (transferred to Two Deck A Stairway in 1994)
The Royal Standard of HM Queen Mary (transferred to Queens Room in 1994)
The Royal Standard of HM Queen Elizabeth (transferred to Queens Room in 1994)
A Concorde Model
The Bas Relief which was never on Queen Elizabeth (transferred to Crystal Bar in 1994)

Third image is a reminder of the Peter Radmore collection that replaced the above collection

The more I see how she was, the more I appreciate both (a) her original design and (b) her last Cunard design. They certainly got a lot of coherence back, and the huge heritage trail across the ship made her feel like something really special.

Did the Peter Radmore collection stay onboard QE2 when she was sold to Dubai?

Yes.  It was there until shortly before my visit in April 2011, when they removed it for safekeeping.
