That looks very well arranged, Chris.  The layout and image just look right.

I think the cover looks very good, and no doubt it will help the book sell, but I don't think it reflects the title and subject of the book (assuming that your book covers the entire 170 years of amazing history & ships).  The cover to me looks more appropriate to a book called 'Cunard Today' or 'The New Cunard'.  I have to say that I much prefer the one shown earlier in this topic.

I like both covers, although I think combining the two cover old with the new vessels explains in picture form what the book is all about.

Rob, I knew you would say that ;) you're right that image was selected as a wider audience associate Cunard with the modern Queens than with the historic ships. If using this picture encourages people to buy the book and read the 170 year history, then it is helping a wider audience to appreciate the Cunard history.

We will be using Mauretania on the back cover as Jem suggests, to showcase new and old.

The majority of he images between the covers are Cunarders from 1840-1999.

Thanks Peter for your feedback too!!

Jem at his best - being far more diplomatic and polite than I was! I will try to learn from his light touch :)
