Last night I found another little memento - the crew list for the final voyage to Dubai.
However, the crew photo on page 1 is not quite correct for the last voyage as it shows David Perkins as master (centre front), when we all know Ian McNaught was driving. But, the photo was taken two months before that final voyage.

I have attached a colour photo where the front row are not waving their arms about, but was obviously taken at the same time.

Only the booklet cover is coloured - the other pages are all B&W

The booklet is 40 pages in total - I have only attached the first half dozen pages here - sing out if you want the lot!

And some more!

I will attach some more pages every couple of days - they are black & white, and take a bit of work to get the grainy photos enhanced enough to look reasonable after scanning.

Thank you very much, Skilly, for posting the pages from the Farewell Crew List.

It is marvelous to be able to read each person's name and to see the photos and QE2's information as listed in the booklet.

Please do add more pages as you are able.

It seems that each passing year becomes more and more poignant with our beloved QE2 being in limbo for so long.

A lovely fitting note from the Captain to his crew. and notice the comment for QE2s arrival in Dubai and the depart time.. :(
As always very interesting and look forward to seeing some more as and when time permits..

Today, we are at sea...
Do you know if it was a busy one, June?

If anyone still has a Daily Programme(s), it would be interesting to know whether the same format was followed, as with any other previous sea day...
Who were the Lecturers?
Were the Bridge teachers on board?
And the Entertainers, was it anyone special?
There are still many crew-members  on board the current Cunard ships who took QE2 to Dubai.

Good thing I already checked with Rob that he has plenty of HDD space available - Michael G. and I have already killed the storage system once with an overload of photos a few years back:
