Wonderful pictures, and great to see these very different "crowds" attracted to QE2 from the very start and throughout her life at sea!

Thank you so much for letting us see and enjoy these great photos  :) .

Congratulations indeed!

These photos show once again the huge value of the photo competitions. Again and again, they bring in photos never seen before. Twynkle's photo shows QE2 in the majestic surroundings of Geiranger, and Gary Arvedon's photo is a view to be treasured, never to be repeated and so huge!

Our great thanks to all who entered and all who voted -- you make this Forum a constantly active and vibrant place.

Congratulations to the February 2024 Photo Competition winner and runner up winner. The competition theme was "QE2 Berthed Near Unusual Structures".

Katharina Ernst is the winner with her photo, "QE2 in the Roadstead off Easter Island".

Mike DiFiore is the runner up winner with his photo, "QE2 & Canberra".

Thank you to all who submitted photos, and thanks to all who voted. The variety of photos submitted each month is truly amazing, and they are part of the legacy of our QE2.

Congratulations to these wonderful winners!

I am often amazed how some unusual topics for the photo competitions can bring in unexpected and marvellous previously unseen photos.

A big thank-you to all who contributed photos and all who voted.

The winner of the March Photo Competition "Normally out of Bounds Areas" is:

Cunarder Man's photo "Inside her Funnel

Hamburger's picture "Internal Organs" was the runner up

These photos demonstrate how the competition gives us the chance to see areas of the ship we would not otherwise have seen.

Congratulations to both winner and runner up and thank-you to everyone who participated.

Cunarder Man's photo "Inside her Funnel

This is an amazing photo. I cannot even make out what is in this picture.

John, could you please explain in simple words what it was you saw, and of course how you managed to get there! This must have been a most memorable day for you :) .

What I think I'm seeing in there... is outer casing on the left and the huge exhaust pipes running up on the right of the picture...?

Congratulations to the winners! Both of them are excellent photos.

Without these photo competitions, they might never have arrived in our Forum. We are very grateful to Katharina and Philiw for posting them and adding another facet to the legend that QE2 was and is.
