The theme for the January Competition, "QE2 in New York, QE2 in Hamburg, QE2 Tandem Crossing", was chosen by Hamburger.

Please vote for your three favourite photos. This is the fourth competition of the new calendar year, with winning and runner-up photos going towards the 2024 QE2 Story Calendar.

The prize this month is the book, "The Story of Saga Rose and Saga Ruby" donated by Isabelle Prondzynski.

Voting is easy, but you need to be registered as a Forum member and log into the Forum to vote.  Whether or not you have submitted photos, please support those who have participated, by choosing your 3 favourite ones, noting the details, then tick the relevant boxes on the poll.  If you have entered photos, please do not vote for your own pictures.

These pictures tell a story! 

Photos from the early years of QE2 in New York 1969 and 1972, her second maiden voyage after re-engining calling at NY in May 1987, early morning arrival in NY in 1997 and 2000 tied up on the Hudson River, evening departure in 2003, tandem departure from NY with QM2 in 2004 plus transatlantic photos from and of QE2.  Finally the final seasons photos.

The Hamburg photos are equally of interest as they paint a picture of the welcome, the sail away, plus photos of the port. 

Choosing just three favourites will be a difficult choice to make, but I will enjoy making the effort.
