It is that time of year again : The QE2 Story calendar for next year is ready!





This year, we offer Lulu wall calendars for sale, and we are also setting aside a couple of Vistaprint calendars as special prizes in forthcoming photo competitions, which will be a great incentive to enter your photos!

The price per calendar is GBP 10.20 or equivalent in other currencies, with a slight margin to benefit The QE2 Story.

A big thank-you to everyone who contributed with wonderful photos for the competitions, who voted and selected the prizewinners, and who sent us the prizewinning pictures.

If the preview is anything to go by then again they look stunning. Just placed an order for a couple, shipping looks very reasonable .

Some of us are still waiting for Royal Mail to get their arse into gear and get them delivered. Presently up here, mail is delivered every 2nd day, rarely on a saturday . so the next delivery drop is Tuesday . I dread to think how they will cope with the impending situation .

Alas its a shame but l fully accept and welcome the chance when posting mail to be offered the Evri and DPD options from the Post Office

I must have been among the first persons to order the calendar, immediately after creating it, and it arrived here today.

Beautifully packaged, and with all those wonderful photos that we voted on over the course of the past year. Lots of thanks to everyone who keeps the photo competition going, by entering pictures, and even more so, by your votes!

And as I was happy that your votes helped one of my photos to gain a prize and be part of this calendar, here is my selfie.

There is now a QE2 calendar on board both Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth 2.

The next mission is to get one on board each of the current Cunarders!

At last managed to upload a photo of the calendar which l gave to The Honorary Commodore Everette Hoard onboard Queen Mary on Christmas Eve.

He now has his own office , well thats what he calls it , id say its a museum of memorabilia and photos from his own collection relating to all things QE2 Queen Mary and the other ships . Given its rightful and proud location in one of the former shops (ye olde dragon one for those who recall that hideous place)

For reasons too ridiculous sounding to try to explain, I just ordered and received my 2024 calendar. It is awesome !

It is not too late to get your calendar. The photos are wonderful even if you do not use it as a calendar.
