Could we / should we split this topic up, so that it related to each calendar ?  I'm not sure from looking which winners went towards which calendars... ?

Yes, I would be very much in favour of that, just as we have split up the entries and votes by calendar year too.

The theme "QE2's Wake" resulted in members uploading lots of interesting and beautiful photos to the gallery for the competition.

Thank-you to everyone who contributed and who voted and congratulation to Seagreen the winner of the December competition with his photo "Sail by Smoking Stromboli 2006"

The runner up was Hamburgers photo "30 knots westbound".  Congratulation also to Hamburger and thanks for submitting this lovely photo.

You can see the votes for the other photos as the poll has now finished.

Congratulations, Seagreen -- this is a stunning photo which took my breath away from the first time I saw it. Good thing you were in the right place at the right time to take the QE2 wake with such a fantastic background!

And Hamburger, thank you too -- the QE2 wake at high speed is what we all love to remember, and you caught it so well...
