The poll for the August 2022  photo competition is now open.
Please vote using the options above - scroll down to view the photos.

Further Information :-

You choose your three favourite pictures from the 29 entered to the "Tender Operations" album a theme chosen by "Twynkle".

This competition is for the new calendar year, with winning and runner-up photos going towards the 2023 QE2 Story Calendar.

The prize, donated by Isabelle Prondzynski, is the DVD "The Leaving of Liverpool Farewell to the Queen".

Voting is easy, but you need to be registered as a Forum member and log into the Forum to vote.  If you have forgotten your password see details to receive a reminder.

Whether or not you have submitted photos, please support those who have participated, by choosing your 3 favourite ones, noting the details, then tick the relevant boxes on the poll.  If you have entered photos, please do not vote for your own pictures.

To make it easier for you, we have posted the pictures below.

However, you might like to turn to the Gallery Album, "Tender Operations" where you can see them all at once, in thumbnail form. Plus you can view larger versions of the pictures by clicking on the photos to see medium size, and clicking once more to see them in large size.

You will not see the results of the vote until the poll has closed on 1 October 2022, after all time zones have had a chance to catch up with the voting deadline.

Enjoy the variety of these photos and choose your favourites.

The bad news is you had to wait a few days longer than usual for the monthly photo competition poll.

However the good news is you can enjoy this fabulous selection of QE2 tenders pictures that our members have added to the gallery album.

Take time to have a look and vote for your three favourite photos.

Difficult choice but I have managed to choose just three photos from a selection that would all look good in a Calendar.

Fabulous but I feel terrible - there's one fabulous photo there in particular that I love, that I'd have loved to pick but couldn't!

Memories!  I'm sure tender #10 is the one I enjoyed going ashored in Cannes in, in Aug 2008

Voted.

Once again, agonising over the choice, especially when it comes to picking the third...

With only six people having voted so far, there is a spread of votes, with one picture being slightly in the lead.

If you haven't voted so far please take time to have a look at these wonderful photos and choose your three favourite photos.

We have seven voters so far, and the month is advancing.

I hope you are enjoying the pictures, and it would be a great support for all involved in the photo competitions if you could take a moment to choose your three favourites and cast your vote. Please  :) .

As we near the end of the month, we have a "record" low number of voters, i.e. only 8.

Are we losing interest in the photo competition and the photos entered?

Most of the competition photos have never been shown before -- the competitions keep bringing us pictures that add to the history and legend of QE2. Your support of these competitions (by voting for instance) is greatly appreciated.
