Hello All,

I was wondering if anyone knew Philip Robson who was a junior nav/deck officer on the CPrincess in 1983 then was transferred to QE2?  We lost touch when he left CP, and I did find out he did pass on young.?

Any info greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Phil Robson,
I certainly knew Phil well during my time on the Cunard Princess, in fact I have one of those dreadful photos of all the Navigating Officer taken at the time, with all of us looking dreadfully young.
I left Cunard Princess in May 1985 to take up a job as Trainee Pilot in New Zealand and lost touch with most of my friends from my days on the QE2 and Cunard Princess, with one exception Malcolm Scanlon who is alive and well and living in Canada. Sorry I cannot be of more help

Hello James there are members of the forum who sailed with the ship to the Falklands.  I hope there is someone who can answer your question. You may not get a response immediately as members do not log into the forum every day.

We have received this photo from Sarah the partner of Geoffrey Duke, who was a Casino Engineer on QE2 in the early 1980.

Geoffrey (Geoff) is on the right but does anyone know the name of the man on the left.

Thanks to Chris, who contacted a friend to ask if he recognised the man in the photo.

He thought the man may be Peter Saunders, a Casino manager.  Does anyone remember Peter?

Thanks also to Alan Snelson, who improved the quality of the picture.  I have sent the updated version to Sarah.
