Poll July 2021 : Colour white

The theme for the July Competition, "Colour white" was chosen by Rob Lightbody, winner of the March 2021 competition.

Thank you to everyone who submitted pictures, which we really appreciate. We hope that you enjoy choosing and voting for your 3 favourites.  This is the tenth competition of the new "calendar" year, with winning and runner-up photos going towards the 2022 QE2 Story Calendar.

There is a choice of prizes of either the book "Caronia, Legacy of a Pretty Sister" by David F. Hutchings or a 500 or 1000 piece jigsaw of the prizewinning photo.

Forum members should note that photos entered must either be their own, or if not, the name of the photographer must be identified for copyright reasons, and so that the owner can potentially win the prize and be credited in the Calendar!


Voting is easy, but you need to be registered as a Forum member and log into the Forum to vote.  Whether or not you have submitted photos, please support those who have participated, by choosing your 3 favourite ones, noting the details, then tick the relevant boxes on the poll.  If you have entered photos, please do not vote for your own pictures.


To make it easier for you, we have posted the pictures below. However, you can also view the photos by clicking the Gallery Album, "Colour white", where you can see them all at once, in thumbnail form, plus you can view larger versions of the pictures by clicking on the photos to see medium size, and clicking once more to see them in large size.

You will not see the results of the vote until the poll has closed on 1 September 2021, after all time zones have had a chance to catch up with the voting deadline.

Just voted. An excellent group of photos that have made me all nostalgic for some reason, perhaps because they give a glimpse into the "everyday" QE2 in her going gear with no Final Season or particularly special occasion involved but just letting "QE2" as a unique, whole experience shine through. It's tricky to put into words and is something I miss to this day...

I know what you are saying, June, I am amazed at the range of photos for this theme. The voting is very close, which could change over the weekend as lots more members log in, enjoy viewing these and photos and vote for their 3 favourites.
