Can anyone help Stephen with his question?

Quote from: Stephen Birchall via email
In 1975 (pretty sure it was 1975) I organised a Scuba Diving Holiday to Barbados linking up with the Barbados BSAC (British Sub Aqua Club) and at some point the QE2 called at Barbados and we arranged to pick up (by boat from the back of the QE2) the ships Scuba Diving Club and take them Diving for the day.

I’m trying to find out when in 1975 this would be and wondered if anyone could help.

I’ve noticed a post on your Facebook page saying she transited the Panama Canal in March 75 so I’m guessing it may have been Feb or March as part of her World Cruise?

Thank you Rob and thanks to Michael for the 1975 dates.  However it wasn't Dec that we went to Barbados so I am now thinking it was probably 1974.  Would you be so kind as to ask Michael foe any dates in 74 that she called at Barbados.  Thanks again for your help.  Stephen.

Thank you very much Michael, I have passed this on.

Hands up if you'd like to be in Barbados on board QE2 just now...

Rob I would rather be on the beach leaning against a palm tree with a Mountgay and coke in my hand, in Barbados of course!
I lived there for 3 years as a kid BTW!

Rob,
I was in the BSAC dive club on board, but did not join until July 1976. More specifics about the club, we were No. 376 (QE2 Special) Branch of the BSAC, I was member 66618. Names that come to mind are Hal Crook, Paul Tsiamas, Norman Bradley (he later went onto the Cunard Princess or Countess) and Stan Childs. Learnt so much from these people and and I completed 37 dives.

Can't give any information on 1975 Scuba. Would like to know when the Scuba club ended and is there any photo's of the early days in the club IE diving in Las Palmas. Thanks
