The theme for the March Competition, "Self Portrait with QE2" was chosen by Hamburger the winner of the October 2020 competition.

Thank you to everyone who submitted pictures, which we really appreciate. We hope that you enjoy choosing and voting for your 3 favourites.  This is the sixth competition of the new "calendar" year, with winning and runner-up photos going towards the 2022 QE2 Story Calendar.

The winner gets to choose a prize, which this month is three lovely Cunard 175 Posters donated by Lynda Bradford

Or a jigsaw of the prizewinning picture . This option may not be available during periods of Covid restrictions. offered by June Ingram.

Forum members should note that photos entered must be your own,  if not, please mention the name of the photographer for copyright reasons, and so that the owner can win the prize and be credited in the Calendar!

Voting is easy, but you need to be registered as a Forum member and log into the Forum to vote.  Whether or not you have submitted photos, please support those who have participated, by choosing your 3 favourite ones, noting the details, then tick the relevant boxes on the poll.  If you have entered photos, please do not vote for your own pictures.

To make it easier for you, we have posted the pictures below. However, you can also view the photos by clicking the Gallery Album, "Self Portrait with QE2", where you can see them all at once, in thumbnail form, plus you can view larger versions of the pictures by clicking on the photos to see medium size, and clicking once more to see them in large size.

You will not see the results of the vote until the poll has closed on 1 May 2021, after all time zones have had a chance to catch up with the voting deadline.

Enjoy the variety in these photos and choose your favourites :) .

As always the choice is yours -- enjoy!

Such wonderful photos each with wonderful memories, all thanks to our beloved QE2 ! How are we ever to choose ONLY three photos ? Perhaps we should close the competition right now and award a first place prize to every photo !  :)

We have 9 voters now, but many of the photos have not yet received a vote. Looking forward to many more voters to encourage our contributors, whose photo submissions are so enjoyable and welcome!

Polling seems to be sluggish this month. We seem to have been stuck at 11 or 12 votes for a long time already.

What do you like about these photos? Which one would do well in next year's calendar? Which brings up favourite memories?

If you have never voted in these competitions, give it a go, it is so easy. Just look down the various pictures and select your favourite three, remembering their titles. Then tick those titles in the poll, and you are done! At the end of the month, the poll will open, so that you can check how each photo did. Give it a go! It really is a lot of fun to look at these pictures and cast your vote. Go on :) .

14 voters ! There is a week to cast your ballot if you have not done so.

The photos are fabulous. Take a bit of time to relax, put your feet up, spend some quality time with QE2 and those who are in the photos and vote for your three favourites.  :)

But blooming eck thats difficult!!

I wanted to choose at least ten!!

So many happy faces.

Right now though, the place I'd like to be, is in that photo with Lynda, out on deck on a lovely sea day, doing some laps before nipping inside for a coffee and something tasty.

17 voters still, and at this stage one in front, with three following in equal position.

Two more days to vote, use the chance to select the best for next year's calendar!
