The theme for the January Competition, "QE2 being assisted by a harbour tug" was chosen by Pete Hamill the winner of the August competition.

Thank you to everyone who submitted pictures, which we really appreciate. We hope that you enjoy choosing and voting for your 3 favourites.  This is the forth competition of the new "calendar" year, with winning and runner-up photos going towards the 2022 QE2 Story Calendar.

The winner gets to choose a prize, which this month is "QE2: The Cunard Line Flagship, Queen Elizabeth 2" by Commodore Ronald W. Warwick and Sam Warwick, donated by Richard J Wade.

Voting is easy, but you need to be registered as a Forum member and log into the Forum to vote.  Whether or not you have submitted photos, please support those who have participated, by choosing your 3 favourite ones, noting the details, then tick the relevant boxes on the poll.  If you have entered photos, please do not vote for your own pictures.

To make it easier for you, we have posted the pictures below. However, you can also view the photos by clicking the Gallery Album, "QE2 being assisted by a harbour tug", where you can see them all at once, in thumbnail form, plus you can view larger versions of the pictures by clicking on the photos to see medium size, and clicking once more to see them in large size.

You will not see the results of the vote until the poll has closed on 1 March 2021, after all time zones have had a chance to catch up with the voting deadline.

Enjoy the variety in these photos and choose your favourites :) .

As always the choice is yours -- enjoy!

I agree Pete, when I was setting up the poll I thought there were so many good pictures that making a choice would be difficult and I was not wrong.

Seven people have voted and already we have four photos in the lead, which just goes to show how difficult it will be to choose a winner.

Looking for more people to vote, so take time to enjoy viewing these photos of QE2 being assisted by a harbour tug and vote for your three favourites from this fabulous twenty one picture.  :)

I am the eighth person who has voted. Again, it was a very difficult decision ! Each photo asks the questions - Where have we been ? - Where are we going ? - Who is the Captain on this voyage ? - Who is aboard that I know ? Each photo has its own special story to tell !

If you have not yet cast your ballot, please log in, have a look at these magnificent photos of QE2 and her small but powerful assistants, and choose your three favourites !   :)

There are several pictures in this collection that would make superb jigsaws!

And of course, I always visualise the pictures that would look great in the following year's calendar. The joy of planning the next calendar starts almost immediately the previous one is available to order :) .

Looking forward to more votes!

Voted!!

As usual I wanted to vote for about 8 of them, but in the end picked ones that I liked most.

Cracking, incredible photos, as always.  Truly amazing after all these years.  Well done everyone.
