Hello from Darren Stalian

Hello all.
New member here.
Thank you for allowing me to join your community.
I'm a member of several forums but usually watch-related.

I'll be perfectly honest and state my purpose from the start.
I have a lovely book that was published 1999, Queen Elizabeth 2: A Voyage of Discovery.
It has been in a drawer, in a box, in its sleeve since new, unread.
Sadly it is not 100% pristine as it has a few small spots on the light blue satin cover.
Please can someone direct me to the correct forum section where I can provide more details.

I was simply going to place it into an auction but thought a genuine QE2 fan may want it first before a book dealer hoovers it up.
Nothing against book/watch/autograph dealers, very useful people.
It is the light blue satin version, No.226 of 600 pieces.

Hello Darren

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting your introduction.

The topic board on Books, Videos and DVDs about QE2 may be an appropriate place to start a topic on the book.

Once we see how discussions develop,  it will not be a problem to move the topic if needed.

I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

Welcome, Darren, to The QE2 Story Forum. This is definitely the place to be for all things QE2. Your book sounds to be very interesting. While posting about your book, please have a look around The Forum and see the wealth of information here. Check out also The Photo of the Month competition. Best, June  :)

Hello Lynda & June.
Thank you for the welcome.

On the link provided,  I found an old post with members opinions & some details of the book.

If any forum members do not have a copy of this sizeable book and fancy a bargain, they can gladly have mine.
I'm a collector of things myself and would rather it went to an enthusiast.
