i have been lucky to have seen the qe 2 on numerous occasion and in particular - spent a day on board her - when she calleed in durban

again she called in cape town - with the original funnel colours and blue boot legging - and a dirty smudge on her port side - caused no doubt by the tugs !

then i think i saw her in 1988 and or 1991 this time with her new funnel livery and the traditional boot legging

First sailed on QE2 in August 2003 aged 6 years old. Last stepped foot and sailed on QE2 in July 2008. Last saw the seagoing QE2 in person from the decks of QM2, on QE2's last Transatlantic crossing (Eastbound tandem) in October 2008. Visited QE2, in her new life, in Dubai back in January 2020.
