I was one of the many contributors to this. Glad it is likely to see the light of day despite the current world situation. Not sure I can or should say anymore at this time. Might've said too much already...
First sailed on QE2 in August 2003 aged 6 years old. Last sailed on QE2 in July 2008. Last saw the seagoing QE2 in person from the decks of QM2, on QE2's last Transatlantic crossing (Eastbound tandem) in October 2008. Visited QE2 in her new life, in Dubai, in January 2020 and August 2022.

Well, what it would be useful for you to say would be when this is likely to show and whether people living outside the UK are likely to have access to it in one way or another. Otherwise, glad to hear that you were able to contribute to it! I hope it was enjoyable.

Unfortunately I don't know when it'll be broadcast, hopefully this Summer and it seems to be on course for that given what's said in the articles. I've been keeping an eye out for a while now and will continue to do so. In regards to watching from overseas it will likely be available shortly after broadcast on Channel Five's catch-up service called "My5" (their equivalent of BBC iPlayer) and one could use a VPN to watch the programme on a smartphone/tablet/PC/Mac.

It was wonderful to be involved, reliving some of the happy memories from the past on camera in the very same places onboard that the memories took place in, including my profile picture. Very grateful for the opportunity. Looking forward to seeing what makes and does not make the final cut and looking forward to seeing behind the scenes of the ship in her static role, particularly from a technical point of view, if that is indeed the remit of the documentary after all in light of the description of it.

Thanks for the tip off.  I can't explain why really, but I'm not going to be able to watch it...   But that tagline is going to summon mockery.

No need to explain, Rob... And you don't even need my excuse, which is that I am not within reach of Channel 5!

Could you not record it, or watch it on the plus one at 22.00?

Failing that, it should be available online on the Channel 5 equivalent of the iPlayer for four weeks.

I would be very interested in your personal contribution to this programme, perhaps you can let us know after watching it what you thought of it.

Hopefully the intertwining with archive footage has made the final cut, and some of the other filming. Will have to wait and see either way. It will be a series comprised of 3 episodes.
