Hi,

See above the next virtual get-together, after the success of the first one.

I might release the next batch of "QE2 slides" during the call... what do you think?

Thanks Rob, and thanks for the later timing. 0600 AEDT is slightly better than 0430 AEST. But, only just  :-[
(We move over to AEDT at 0300 tomorrow morning, 'as we speak')

I don't think we can keep everyone happy with the timing, so I suggest we move it about a bit each week (if we keep doing this) to try to keep everyone happy.  Weekend also possible.

I plan on joining!  I believe 9pm London is 4pm EST in the US.  I hope my math is correct!

Planning to take part again too!
First sailed on QE2 in August 2003 aged 6 years old. Last stepped foot and sailed on QE2 in July 2008. Last saw the seagoing QE2 in person from the decks of QM2, on QE2's last Transatlantic crossing (Eastbound tandem) in October 2008. Visited QE2, in her new life, in Dubai back in January 2020.

I'll leave the remaining hardy sailors to finish up the chat, I'm away to put my feet up.

Thank you to all this week's participants, it was a good laugh.

This week's chat has just ended. It was wonderful to chat again and to speak for the first time with more forum members. Great to hear more QE2 Stories and we had good fun putting our QE2 photos as virtual backgrounds in the video chat! Looking forward to next week's chat!

Enjoyed joining the chat yesterday evening and it was good to put faces to names.

John put forward a good idea that everyone should bring along a piece of QE2 memorabilia next time so as to have a chat about the item.  Sounded like a fantastic idea as and it would be even better if it was an unusual piece of memorabilia.

Yes, it was good putting faces to voices. Rob looks so much younger live than in his pics.
Not going to guarantee that I will make the next one but I will try!
Thanks guys!

Looking forward to seeing each other's QE2 memorabilia and the stories behind them! Now which item do I choose? :)
