This is a bit of an odd one...

My photo archive popped up today with one of those "on this day" things.  And here's what it has... (attached).  It says 11 years ago, so 14-November-2008.

I don't remember anything about it, or speaking to them, but it has reminded me that the press had my number, even before I started this site...

Passionate about QE2's service life for 37 years and creator of this website.  Worked in IT for 27 years and created my personal QE2 website in 1994.

  • Beautiful, elegant QE2 - forever Queen of the Seas
Really interesting and it must have been a very poignant feeling when you saw it !
QE2 - the ship for all of time, a ship of timeless beauty !

Back then l guess did we really have any idea of what lay ahead for QE2 and what the ultimate plans were for her .
From the moment you first glimpsed the Queen,
you just knew you were in for a very special time ahead.!
