And how many walked past barely noticing these.....
From the moment you first glimpsed the Queen,
you just knew you were in for a very special time ahead.!

"An evening to remember" (c) 1988 is part of the cafe society limited edition serigraphs.  These framed serigraphs adorned the walls of the Lido restaurant.

The image of people enjoying cocktails, the waiter standing with the tray of champagne, and the pianist are not just of a bygone age but also what we came to expect when cruising with Cunard.

Notice the woman with the blue dress, empty glass in hand, looking towards the waiter, another glass of champagne perhaps!

I like how your eyes are drawn toward the pianist and the people gather around the piano because the diamond shaped, black and white floor covering, leads you in that direction.

When George C Griffiths visited QE2 in Dubai last weekend he took time to take photos of Giancarlo Impiglia's Lifestyle I and Lifestyle II murals.  Unfortunately he could not see the Regatta mural on display.

These were shown on board QM2's Crossing last September 2022!!
Evoking hugely nostalgic lovely memories!
We made Good Friends with Giancarlo Impiglia and his wife!
The New Artwork on the Queen Anne was the Character of this crossing -
Lectures and slides etc were very much the Theme - both in the Theatre as well as in other places on board!

Project Lifestyle - proposed changes that weren't realised.
