DM received and QE2 will be getting prepared for the voyage this weekend and will set sail towards the end of next week.

Slight delay in docking as the docking crew were asleep on the job!  The She is currently doing a scenic voyage around Scotland and will be ready to dock tomorrow with a planned date for the start of the refit on Saturday.

Docked and currently undergoing inspection prior to refit.

It's a beautiful photo, and I am sure that it perfectly lends it self to a jigsaw.

I am already looking forward to seeing it in next year's calendar.

1000 parts assembled and sorted - me thinks this will be a bigger refit than I had anticipated! 

However the framework is assembled ready for the next stage.  Lots of work ahead for what will be an interesting refit and a challenge for me!  8)
