Apologies for the delay; I was too busy today.  Tomorrow looks quieter.

Here is the first batch of pictures; second batch to follow in a moment.

I'm not sure why one has posted upside down - they're all the right way up in the folder they've been uploaded to by the people who took them!!!

Here's the rest of the pictures.

QE2 must now make arrangements for the voyage back to Pete Cain...

Thank you, Peter! It is always so interesting to see how people assemble a jigsaw, and in which order.

I love the very first picture, looking so artistic, just the outlines :) .

As for the "upside-down" one, looking at the perspective, I think it was photographed that way. I can turn it, but think it was meant to be viewed from that angle.

Well done, the jigsaw puzzlers! And many thanks to them for having taken regular pictures :) .

Many thanks, Peter, for posting photos of QE2's (jigsaw) refit !  It looks like she was well taken care of !  And I know for a fact that her refit crew had a wonderful time !  It is not everyday that one can work with the best ship in the world !   :)

That is an interesting consideration! Peter, do you think that the jigsaw crew became much more interested in and enthusiastic about QE2 as a result of having carried out this jigsaw refit?

I don't know, but perhaps if any of them are reading this they could join the forum and tell us themselves...  ;D

Right then Peoples,
following the very successful double re-fit at Peter's - a feat never undertaken before I might add,
Peter has agreed to hold the jig saw for a few days in case anybody shows an interest in completing this beauty.  The only restriction being to complete at a leisurely pace , enjoy, share with the forum & have it back to Cumbria  for Christmas, how does that sound?.
Any member interested please message Peter soon, as he is incognito after the 7th for a while & won't be able to send it onwards.
                     Thanks JimnPete

There must be somebody ready to have a go at this  & have it returned to Cumbria for Christmas?.
I'll give it another week & if no interest at this time , I will ask Peter to send it home thanks ...

We must be telepathic; I was thinking only this morning that it was time to follow up on this! :)

Yes, if there are no takers then I will return the jigsaw direct to Pete Cain at the end of this month.

I would be interested in giving it a go Pete if you have not already sent it back.
