This month's theme is "Bon Voyage -- QE2 as she sets sail for another voyage", chosen by Jerry Egerton, the winner of the October 2018 competition. This can be anything showing the departure of QE2 -- as seen on board or from shoreside. The choice is yours, but QE2 must feature in the picture.

A very fitting theme for the new year with new departures ahead of us -- looking forward to lots of entries this month!

The prize this month is the Cunard Colouring Book, donated by the authors, Chris Frame and Rachelle Cross.

Alternatively, June Ingram is offering a jigsaw of the prizewinning picture. The choice is yours -- which will it be?

I uploaded my three photos for this month's competition.  Bon Voyage - QE2 as she sets sail for another voyage.

It was more difficult than I thought trying to find appropriate entries.
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

  • QE2 started a dream to go to sea - now a reality!
Uploaded! Was a good trip down memory lane to my first voyage in 2003, aged 6 years old!
First sailed on QE2 in August 2003 aged 6 years old. Last sailed on QE2 in July 2008. Last saw the seagoing QE2 in person from the decks of QM2, on QE2's last Transatlantic crossing (Eastbound tandem) in October 2008. Visited QE2 in her new life, in Dubai, in January 2020 and August 2022.
