October 2018 : The QE2 Library and Bookshop
« on: Oct 04, 2018, 11:18 PM »
This month's theme is "The QE2 Library and Bookshop", chosen by Thomas Hypher, the runner-up of the July 2018 competition.

I do hope that many of us took photos in these lovely places, as well as enjoying the books and souvenirs.

The prize this month
is a copy of the poster "Cunard Line The most famous ocean liners in the world", donated by the artist, Marc-Antoine Bombail.

Please see the picture below.

Alternatively, June Ingram is offering a jigsaw of the prizewinning picture. The choice is yours -- which will it be?

How to enter

The album is open -- so now is the time to look for your most interesting pictures on this theme. Wishing you happy memories as you search your photo collection to find up to three pictures to upload to the competition album.

This link will take you straight there : The QE2 Library and Bookshop[/url].

If you have not uploaded photos to the Forum Gallery before, have a look at these instructions, and if you have any problems, just contact us on admin@theqe2story.com. You could even email the photos to this address, and we can upload them for you.

The deadline for submitting photos is 31 October 2018. Voting will run from 1 November 2018 until 31 November 2018.

We look forward to seeing your photos in this month's competition.

This is the second month of photos for the 2020 calendar. Maybe your photo will figure there!

Enjoy yourselves!  :)

We are looking for some more photos of the QE2 Library and Bookshop for the October competition. Hoping that you took pictures that you can upload to the Gallery

I have searched my albums and unfortunately I have nothing suitable, which is unfortunate as I like to support the competition.  I think I must have been too busy buying souvenirs or browsing the library to take photos.   :(
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank
