Good to see the QE2 has her Christmas Tree on deck. I wonder if they will have an event for the switching on of the lights.

Would love to see picture of Christmas decorations on the ship if anyone is onboard for the festive season.

QE2 Dubai have announced planned events 5 to 7 May 2023 to celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III.

Details have been posted to book for a Coronation Ball, Coronation Afternoon Tea, plus screening of the Coronation Event in the Golden Lion Pub.  Most important is the Heritage Tours conducted 6 and 7 May to inform people about the ship's history.

Christmas Tree Lighting  on QE2 Dubai sounds like a "wish I could be there event"

On 8 December the festive season events program got off to a good start with the switching on of the Christmas Tree lights. 

The Christmas Tree lighting ceremony was a huge success, with some 300 adults and kids present. The Dubai Singers were a wonderful and welcome addition to the evening.

Thank-you to Ferghal Purcell, General Manager, Accor Group for the photos and information about the event.

Morgan is an iconic British sportscar, which ties in very well with the QE2 heritage and brand.  Clever marketing here.
