  • Beautiful, elegant QE2 - forever Queen of the Seas
The theme for the April competition "Original Features" was chosen by Isabelle Prondzynski, the winner of the January competition.

Thank you to everyone who submitted pictures, which we really appreciate, and we hope that you enjoy choosing and voting for your 3 favourites.

Voting is easy, but you need to be registered as a Forum member and log into the Forum to vote.  Whether or not you have submitted photos, please support those who have participated, by choosing your three favourite ones, noting the details, then tick the relevant box on the poll.  If you have entered photos please do not vote for your own pictures.

To make it easier for you we have posted the pictures below, however you can also view the photos in the Gallery, where you can see them all at once, in thumbnail form, plus you can view larger versions of the pictures by clicking on the photo to see medium size, then click again, to see them in large size.

Go to the Gallery Album "Original Features".

You will not see the result until after the poll has closed on 1 June 2018 giving all time zones the chance to catch up with the voting deadline.

As always the choice is yours - enjoy!

The poll for the April competition is now open ready for your votes.

QE2's original features are what make the ship unique and it was wonderful to see the pictures that our members entered for the competition.

There are not so many photos entered this month - maybe this will encourage more people to vote.

Just voted and I take back what I said that I thought having fewer photos would be easier.  It was just as difficult as there as so many interesting pictures that I could have easily voted for six.

  • QE2 started a dream to go to sea - now a reality!
Just voted, was a tricky one again!
First sailed on QE2 in August 2003 aged 6 years old. Last sailed on QE2 in July 2008. Last saw the seagoing QE2 in person from the decks of QM2, on QE2's last Transatlantic crossing (Eastbound tandem) in October 2008. Visited QE2 in her new life, in Dubai, in January 2020 and August 2022.
