Press coverage of QE2 Hotel Dubai
« on: Apr 30, 2018, 11:33 AM »
I've been working with the writer of this article for over a month, including coordinating with Michael Gallagher and Eric Flounders, and putting the writer directly in touch with the right person in Dubai.  My quote isn't quite what i said, and i never sighed!, But the gist of it is correct.

Hello Rob!
Your contribution is good, and great too that the link to here is there.

(PS - Para 7: Last sentence?
"years of service, a chance to walk the same decks....and for some very special guests -- "by invitation only" -- there is the opportunity to sleep in the royal suites where Queen Elizabeth II and her mother once rested their heads...."

Supposing now that  the "not as described" laws don't apply as they do in the EU -
It could help with the marketing if they'd written something like, "Dine at the Table where
Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll was seated" instead!)

They should get MG out to Dubai pronto , offer him a free cabin for a month, cant think of anybody finer to work and advise on the Liner , heck he could tell them more than they need to know even before breakfast on his first day .
Now wouldnt that be ironic  ;D
From the moment you first glimpsed the Queen,
you just knew you were in for a very special time ahead.!

Or dine at the table where the Queen Mother chocked on a salmon bone.

One always knew Cunard could put spin on some things, Her new owners clearly are taking spin to a new speed  ;)

Indeed - for a start that incident was at Windsor Castle wasn't it?

Sadly, I can't watch the clip because it states that the iPlayer can't play outside of the UK.

A VPN might help?  :)

Just got round to watching this.  It's good, Kenneth Todd does well, but some eejit from pcfc repeats that the Queen stayed in the Queen Elizabeth suite... Sigh... It's not like nobody else famous ever stayed there...

And there's a glimpse of Alan and Shona too!
