Sad news Andy  - it must be disappointing to you both but your partner's health is what is important.

Yes indeed... At least you have a shorter cruise to look forward to, and perhaps a World Cruise when the time is right. Best wishes to you both!

I'm so sorry. That certainly is bad news. Wishing your partner and you the best!

Heres hoping that everything works out well in the end.

After much 'discussion' with Cunard they eventually allowed us the transfer our deposit to a much smaller cruise next September, which, fingers crossed we will be able to manage.

Though it sad to hear that Cunard didnt appreciate the circumstances right away. Loyal Customer, High value booking oh and throw in an Organ transplant (not that lm making light of it !)
From the moment you first glimpsed the Queen,
you just knew you were in for a very special time ahead.!

Sorry to hear of this Andy. Hope your partner's organ transplant and recovery go smoothly and that it doesn't throw a spanner in the works beforehand.
First sailed on QE2 in August 2003 aged 6 years old. Last stepped foot and sailed on QE2 in July 2008. Last saw the seagoing QE2 in person from the decks of QM2, on QE2's last Transatlantic crossing (Eastbound tandem) in October 2008. Visited QE2, in her new life, in Dubai back in January 2020.

Do we REALLY need football coverage on a cruise?
