Clive Courtnage : Hello to all
« on: Nov 22, 2017, 12:35 PM »
Hi everyone I'm Clive and I am looking for a little help in producing a 90th Birthday present for my Father-in-law.

My Father-in-law used to be the Industrial Editor for the Sunday Express and often recollects on his time abroad the QE2 on its maiden voyage and being able to take the helm for a brief moment.

I am trying to find either an old photo that he may be in or a copy (not original) of the passenger list with his name on, maybe front cover and relevant page ?

Looking to frame along with a few other bits I can find on his past (The Concorde being another, nice work if you can get it)

His working name was Don Perry but maybe John Perry on passenger list and was on board as member of the press.

Basically interested in any pointers or help to get something sorted by next March.

Hi Clive -

Welcome to The QE2 Story Forum and it is great to have you here.  I hope you will be able to find out more information about your Father-in-Law so that you can make the present for his birthday !

All the best !
