I'm happy to see that all these pictures and memorabilia are seeing the light of day again, but with so many being on display outside the ship, instead of where they belonged inside the ship, I wonder how the interiors now look like without them.

The works of art, models, copies of models, heritage collection - as well as furnishings, lights and lighting, muster signs etc etc have all been a part of the Spirit of QE2 - and of Cunard as the company was, when QE2 was alive and kicking.
Currently it feels as if one of my closest relatives has been ambushed, stripped and left undressed.
Keeping fingers crossed that someone has the sense to re-instate as much of the collection as possible and install it as originally it was - on board, and in situ - the new cruise terminal only needs a few pictures, no-one's going to be any the wiser if they are 'divorced, living in the Annexe' - and the models certainly should be kept on the ship along with Britannia, the Falklands wooden plaque etc etc etc....
