Queen Mary 2 - Flagship in The fjords.

Hi everyone, this a 12 minute flavour of our cruise this summer. If anyone was aboard also, I hope it brings back a memory or two.

Beautiful video, thanks for posting.

Great memories, indeed, since I was aboard one month later for the same cruise (the other way around, plus one call at Alesund).

We may have been a bit more lucky with the weather apparently, no rain and a bright sunshine every day.

Excellent footage and photos! Here's my Dad's video of our 2011 visit to Flam.

And MV Artania (ex Artemis and ex Royal Princess - Christened by the one and only back in 1984) interacting with QM2 in Olden. Unfortunately her captain at the time died shortly afterwards, unexpectedly, as we heard. My Dad's video from our 2013 Northern Europe cruise.

First sailed on QE2 in August 2003 aged 6 years old. Last sailed on QE2 in July 2008. Last saw the seagoing QE2 in person from the decks of QM2, on QE2's last Transatlantic crossing (Eastbound tandem) in October 2008. Visited QE2 in her new life, in Dubai, in January 2020 and August 2022.
