Google Earth update from 16th August 2017

On the first shot check black square thats where 14 lifeboats are now,the second is a close up of those lifeboats.
On the thrid shot black circle is 3 more lifeboats on display out side cruise terminal 3 at Port Rashid

Here 3 more captures

On the first you can see part of the gangway been build between terminal building and QE2
Second shot is the parking area where the lifeboats and remains of davits were now its all cleared out
Thrid the QE2 with all the work going on onboard and around the ship

Good to see a lot of progress being made!
First sailed on QE2 in August 2003 aged 6 years old. Last sailed on QE2 in July 2008. Last saw the seagoing QE2 in person from the decks of QM2, on QE2's last Transatlantic crossing (Eastbound tandem) in October 2008. Visited QE2 in her new life, in Dubai, in January 2020 and August 2022.

Great to see a Google Earth update, however a little concerned as the current location of the other lifeboats.

I'm not sure what is going on in this photo  on 3 and 4 deck area (in the black) just aft of the Midships Lobby entrance doors.  Could be spot painting, could be a modification.
