« on: May 02, 2017, 09:51 PM »
This month's theme is " QE2 in Southampton Waters or the Solent", chosen by Stowaway 2k, the winner of the February competition.

QE2 on her home turf!

The prize this month is the book "Cunard's Three Queens" by William H Miller, donated by Isabelle Prondzynski :

Alternatively, June Ingram is offering a jigsaw of the prizewinning picture. The choice is yours -- which will it be?

The album is open -  so now is the time to look for your most interesting pictures on this theme. Wishing you happy memories as you search your photo collection to find up to three pictures to upload to the competition album.

This link will take you straight there : QE2 in Southampton Waters or the Solent.

If you have not uploaded photos to the Forum Gallery before, have a look at these instructions, and if you have any problems, just contact us on admin@theqe2story.com. You could even email the photos to this address, and we can upload them for you.

The deadline for submitting photos is 31 May 2017. Voting will run from 1 June 2017 until 30 June 2017.

We look forward to seeing your photos in this month's competition.

This is the ninth month of photos for the 2018 calendar. Maybe your photo will figure there!

Enjoy yourselves!  :)

There is still almost a week left to enter photos into the competition of QE2 in Southampton Waters or the Solent.

For anyone who has ever embarked on a crossing or a cruise in Southampton, or anyone who has ever visited QE2 there, it would be surprising if you did not take pictures of her! It is of course quite likely that you may be having a hard time deciding which three pictures to enter... but the time for a decision is approaching, and it would be good to see your favourite pictures of this scene in the Gallery and the competition.

Looking forward to what could become a great collection!
