The ship is looking absolutely superb!
From the new truly cool Britannia Club, to a particularly smart Hemispheres, and much more in between,
including the wonderful Chart Room (having been well-married with Cafe Carinthia),
and the clever Midships Gin and Fizz bar, the Winter Garden too, all is as well designed as it could have been!
The canopies on Deck 9, and the rest of the additional furniture up there may be a dubious additional choice for practical reasons.
The imitation of QE2's royal blue and gold piped arm-chairs in the Chart Room are amongst other chairs  of various colours, shapes and sizes making for a delightful space that defies any type of criticism!
PS we had left the ship on the day that the cranes moved in, and the transformation carried out by the crew plus the gang from Palermo deserves much more proper praise and gratitude than it's possible to express here via  a tiny phone screen!

QE2 had been waiting alongside in Dubai for nearly 12 years.  Please restore her Lifeboats and Tenders to where they truly belong - she looks naked without them - please spare her this ignominy.

Sounds really smart.  Enjoy the rest of the cruise Rosie.
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank

Looking at the bids some people must have more money than sense

Agreed :) Isn't that what I said many years ago about the final WC auction? (except then most of what they were selling was genuinely QE2 (but still trash!)
