It's a shame the teak doesn't match with the rest, as also noticeable on Google Maps satellite photos, is it a different type or treated/varnished differently?. I suppose at least they used teak and not something else, or heaven forbid gone down to the bare metal!. They should call it One Deck now in keeping with the rest of the deck inside QE2.
I for one am glad concrete progress on her is finally being made after 9 long years in Dubai, I do however wonder like many others here on the forum as to how much of the QE2 we knew and love will be left when conversion/refurbishment work is complete maybe next year or in 2019?
