This month's theme is "Legend", chosen by Lynda Bradford, the winner of the July competition.

An intriguing theme, and I wonder how you will decide to interpret it! We should have a beautiful collection on this theme by the end of the month.

The prize this month is a 25 Pound Sterling gift voucher to be redeemed from Brixham Steam Packet, donated by June Ingram :

Alternatively, June has also offered as a prize the jigsaw version of the winning photo. It will be interesting to see which is preferred!

The album is open -  so now is the time to look for your most interesting pictures on this theme. Wishing you happy memories as you search your photo collection to find up to three pictures to upload to the competition album.

If you have not uploaded photos to the Forum Gallery before, have a look at these instructions, and if you have any problems, just contact us on admin@theqe2story.com. You could even email the photos to this address, and we can upload them for you.

The deadline for submitting photos is 31 October 2016. Voting will run from 1 November 2016 until 30 November 2016.

We look forward to seeing your photos in this month's competition.

I am delighted to be able to pass on some excellent news :

The prize for this month's competition is now GBP 50 (Pounds Sterling) - 25 from June and another 25 from Brixham Steam Packet Company.  The GBP 50 total will be good for internet shopping at Brixham or in person at Brixham.  When the winner has been announced, we shall contact Bob Higginson at Brixham, and he will sent the voucher for GBP 50 to the winner.

What a fabulous prize for the winner of the October competition and I hope this encourages more people to enter their photos.  Even if you do not win, it is good to take part in the competition and let everyone see your QE2 Legend photos.
