Getting close to the QE2

Hi,

I'm a new member here. Hello everybody! I'm in Dubai and am hoping to try to see the QE2 tomorrow. Does anybody know the best location for getting as close as possible to the ship to take some photos?

Your best try will the main road that runs along Port Rashid the D92.
Here though you will only find a few gaps where you can see the ship.

Falcon Signal Bur Dubai  junction is most likely the best place.
Hope you have a good camera as QE2 is about 300 meters away.

No one is allowed in Port Rashid without permission.But if you get
to the Main Gate you get a good view of QE2 although is is far.
But here is a risky one as those security guards will tell you off.

The best is if you have loads of money and go on a heli tour.
They fly over and around QE2 if you want.

Hiya Louis,

Thanks so much for all that info. I reckon I'll chance my arm with the security guards and try to get as close as I can. Unfortunately the helicopter might be a bit of a stretch, it's already pretty expensive here already! If I manage to breach the perimeter and get some good shots I'll let you know!
