April Photo Competition Poll - QE2 and Concord(e)
« on: May 01, 2016, 09:44 AM »
Photo of the month competition - instructions on how to vote for your favourite photo

The theme for the April competition was "QE2 and Concord(e)", chosen by Pete Cain the winner of the January competition.

Thank-you to everyone who submitted photos, which we really appreciate and we hope that you enjoy choosing your 3 favourite photos

Voting is easy but you need to be a forum member and log into the forum to vote.  Even if you have not submitted photos please support those who have participated by choosing your three favourite photos, noting the details then tick the relevant box on the poll.  But if you have submitted photos please do not vote for the photos you have entered.

To make it easier for you we have posted the photos below, however you can also view the photos in the Gallery  where you can see them all at once, in thumbnail form plus you can view larger versions of the pictures by clicking on the photo to see medium size, then click again, to see them in large size. Go to Gallery Album

The prize this month is the book C-Six by Nigel Roberts, donated by Isabelle Prondzynski. This book has been read, and is "like new" (but as it dates from 1988, the pages are a bit yellowish).

Alternatively, June Ingram has offered as a prize the jigsaw version of the winning photo. It will be interesting to see which is preferred!

You will not see the results until after the voting has closed on 1 June 2016 giving other time zones the chance to catch up with the voting deadline.

Please enjoy viewing these fantastic photos and thank-you for voting.  :)

Thanks to everyone who submitted entries for this months competition.

There are so many wonderful photos that it is difficult to choose, but it will be fun selecting your three favourites.

Thanks Peter for casting your votes. When I was setting up the poll I had a good idea of my favourite photos but then I looked again and I liked different photos for different reasons, they are all good, but need to choose three.

Voting is a bit slow only 10 people have voted.  Some wonderful photos just waiting for your votes, so have a look and vote for your 3 favourites.  :)

Very disappointing that only 12 members have voted so far this month.   :'(  :(

These fabulous photos deserve your votes, so please have a look, choose your3  favourites and vote.  It only takes a few minutes to vote, although it takes much longer to make your choice.   :)

I have just now voted and it was again a very difficult decision.  I always like to look at the photos several times during the month and then vote toward the end of the voting period.  But yes, please do vote for your favourites and enjoy some time with our beloved QE2 !   :)

15 people have voted so far. There are only four days left now to select a winner and a runner-up.

So many ways to picture concord -- some very interesting interpretations here!
