The theme for the March competition was "Music aboard QE2", chosen by Harev the winner of the December competition. 

Thank-you to everyone who submitted photos, which we really appreciate and we hope that you enjoy choosing your 3 favourite photos

Voting is easy but you need to be a forum member and log into the forum to vote.  Even if you have not submitted photos please support those who have participated by choosing your three favourite photos, noting the details then tick the relevant box on the poll.  But if you have submitted photos please do not vote for the photos you have entered. 

To make it easier for you we have posted the photos below, however you can also view the photos in the Gallery  where you can see them all at once, in thumbnail form plus you can view larger versions of the pictures by clicking on the photo to see medium size, then click again, to see them in large size. The prize this month is Marc-Antoine Bombail's new poster of Cunard Queens Past and Present, donated by himself (MAB Creations). This is currently selling on board the new Queens.



Alternatively, June Ingram has offered as a prize the jigsaw version of the winning photo. It will be interesting to see which is preferred!

You will not see the results until after the voting has closed on 1 May 2016 giving other time zones the chance to catch up with the voting deadline.

Well, that's my vote in on the first night of the poll as usual.

Would it be possible for the page to display the total number of people who have voted?  ( As in how many members have cast their votes of course, not as in how many votes each picture has got! )

Maybe Rob can find a way... but just to give an update, so far it is 4 people.

The choices we have are; to show the results to everyone, to show the results after someone has voted, and to show the results when the poll is finished.  We opt for the last one to shoe the results when the poll is finished.  There is not an option to show how many people have voted, without showing how they have voted.  As Isabelle has mentioned, maybe Rob has a solution.  As the moderators can see the number of people who have voted (after they have cast their vote) The only other option I can think of is for the moderators to post on a regular basis the number of people who have voted.

Yes, that would work - my thinking is that knowing how many people have voted might encourage others to vote as well.

These are marvelous pictures as always.  I have not yet voted, but of course, will do so.  I like to come back to the photos several times before making my selection.
