This month's theme is "Views of and across the foredeck", chosen by Cunarder Man, the winner of the September competition.

The prize this month is the book The British Cruise Ship by Ian Collard , donated by Rob Lightbody and currently selling at Amazon UK for GBP 18.94.

Alternatively, June Ingram has offered as a prize the jigsaw version of the winning photo. It will be interesting to see which is preferred!

The album is open -  so now is the time to look for your most interesting pictures on this theme. Wishing you happy memories as you search your photo collection to find up to three pictures to upload to the competition album.

This link will take you straight there : Views of and across the foredeck.

If you have not uploaded photos to the Forum Gallery before, have a look at these instructions, and if you have any problems, just contact us on admin@theqe2story.com. You could even email the photos to this address, and we can upload them for you.

The deadline for submitting photos is 30 November 2015. Voting will run from 1 December 2015 until 31 December 2015.

We look forward to seeing your photos in this month's competition.

This will be the third month to enter photos for the 2017 calendar. Maybe your picture will be there!

Enjoy yourselves!  :)

"View of and across the foredeck" is an excellent theme for the November competition. Looking forward to some interesting photos.

Hi Lynda is it ok if I add photos with a watermark or would it be better without.

Hi Louis, would be best if the photos are posted without a watermark.

The QE2 Story watermark is automatically added to photos on the gallery, so if there was another watermark already on the photo it would start to get a bit untidy and take away from the photo.

I remember when we started the photo competition on the poll we stated the title of the photo and the name of who had posted, but we then decided that we should not add the name of the member who posted the photo on the poll topic.  I know you can see the photographer's name if you go to the gallery, but we were trying not to make it easy to make the connection on the poll.  If a watermark identified who the photographer was this would be counterproductive.

I hope this makes sense.   :)

Hope you can still post photos as I am sure you will have some excellent photos, especially for this month's theme.

Mine have finally gone in. Wonderful to see how many views of and across the foredeck we have gathered already -- every photo competition is another revelation of the many facets of the ship!

Have you uploaded yours yet?
