Below Deck on Bravo
« on: Oct 03, 2015, 08:08 PM »
For those who have access to Bravo, the reality series " Below Deck", which chronicles the behind the scenes life onboard a charter yacht in the Caribbean, has a new head chef this season who uses to work on......yup, QE2!  Floored when I heard it.  She is still mentioned and gets attention.  Interesting that some of the crew understand the significance, but other crew have simply no clue.  The head stew is NOT impressed as she feels that he is used to pushing out vast quantities of food and not the type that the typical charter guest are expecting.  I don't think he's going to last the season.

Thanks, Ken, for the info and link !  Awesome that the new chef worked aboard QE2 - helping to keep her name out there !  Hope he does last the season !

I doubt he's going to last.  He's got quite an attitude.  The show is quite entertaining and pretty accurate depiction of charter yacht life, but amped up for TV.
