It is wonderful to have this inside knowledge about the subject of bunkering, ballast etc.  and I have to admit that I have enjoyed reading this topic.  Thank-you to our technical experts that give us an understanding of the engineering side of the ship and thanks to Rosie for asking the initial question. 
I was proud to be involved with planning QE2's 50 year conference in September 2017 in Clydebank
