There is nothing truly 'British' about any ship that Carnival Corporation own/operate ..... only their interpretation of what they perceive to be a British look. For P&O, a brash external colour scheme and an eclectic, eccentric mix of interior design to reflect Britishness.
When I saw the re-furbished Golden Lion Pub on Queen Mary 2, I thought I was going to have a migraine. Love the tartan hate everything else and so it flows through out the Carnival fleets.
That said, RMS Queen Mary 2 has to be my favourite now as I can no longer board my birth sake QE2
, simply because QM2 is so very different. Having tried QV and QE, both twice ....... it's a big nah from me. Nice cruise ships .... too many people
