Having just heard the tale end of this - I can't imagine that the earlier part of the programme won't be as well worthwhile as the last few minutes.
I believe it's about retired Seafarers recalling life-at-sea and other memories - and they are in Liverpool!
(Another one of many Good Things to come from that great port!)
on the other hand, it could be somewhat sad as well as a bit depressing too....
