Fabulous! And thank you for showing the work in progress.

The skills we have in this Forum! I am full of admiration.

And now, I wish you fair weather so that you can show off your handiwork in other ports :) .

It just goes to show that there is a positive to everything - even bad weather.  If the weather had been good you would have been sailing and not had time to do this smart repair to keep the boat in mint condition or as the old saying goes:
"Shipshape and Bristol Fashion"  ;)

Hi June.
Not much to report here at the moment. I have just overhauled the main engine cooling system with a rebuild of the freshwater circulating pump, new thermostats, descaling of heat exchanger etc.

Lone Gerd is due her 5 year insurance survey this year and we are planning to have her lifted out at Fleetwood again for this. As we are heading northwards for this we may take the opportunity to have another Scottish trip over the summer. I will post more on this nearer the time.

Before this we are taking a month on a trip to Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore for our 25th wedding anniversary (air not sea travel sadly), so with our usual autumn in Montenegro it will be a busy year.

Hi Bruce -

Thanks very much for your message and update. It does sound like you have done quite a lot of work. And quite a bit more to follow with her coming out of the water.

It does sound like you have some great travel plans. All the best with them and all good wishes for a Happy Anniversary !

June  :)

Sounds like you have exciting travel plans this year and what an amazing trip for your 25 Anniversary.  Will Lone Gerd be in Scotland in September for the conference?

Hi Lynda

Sadly we will not be able to make the conference, it clashes with the only time of the year we are really able to go to Montenegro for a decent length of time before the weather breaks.

Thanks for the anniversary wishes June. The work never really stops but sitting watching the world go by is not for me.

Hi June

They can lift 75 ton I think. They told us we were 59 ton last time so have a fair bit of spare capacity.

Yes, it sounds like you do not have to worry too much about the weight.

Good to hear from you, Bruce! Will you and Lone Gerd still be around by the time we reach there for the Conference?
