Rename QV & QE - Caronia and Franconia then build another TA Liner and call her QE. Dont go near Lusitania, Mauretania or Aquitania as they're  as revered as the Queens!! (if not more)

Job done!

Although I would imagine the Vista boats were given Queen names for marketing purposes they would do OK with some imaginative marketing under their new names!

I don't think you'd have to worry about them naming it Lusitania as the disaster obscures the liner and the name sadly.

Princess was originally Conquest and given the Princess name once Princess Grace had consented to name her.

And plans were drawn up for a sister to QM2...

A sister to QM2 or QE2?

  • At Mach 2 three days after being on QE2...
May we ask which Queen this would have been, and would the ship have been an exact sister?  Could it even still happen....?

I remember someone saying the possibility of another transatlantic liner could happen...either in 2044 or maybe in the near future, but it all depends on the demand.

It would be nice if it did happen.  :D
"The QE2 is one of the last great transatlantic liners, and arguably the most famous liner in the world"

"QE2 and Concorde, a partnership that lasted almost 30 years... two stunning pieces of engineering, never to be forgotten!"
