Hello everyone and thanks for your input - I think the choice is No 2.
I had mentioned that I could put in some inlay photos to break up some of the similar coloured areas at the top of the photo.
The attached photo gives an idea of what I am meaning - this was a puzzle I had made for Shelagh as part of her Xmas pressie - the main pic is of our 3 legged moggy Laphroaig with 8 additional smaller inlays of him and our other two cats Caol Ila and Brora.
The layout of this one was a standard template offered by the supplier and they do offer one with photos along the top but I was going to add them to the photo myself as there is more control over the spacing etc.
So bear with me and we'll see how it comes out - if it becomes a "guddle" then we can revert to the standard photo 2 and proceed!
Finally - do we want a 1000, 1500 or 2000 piece?
